At ATT, research and development is carried out exclusively to satisfy customers’ needs. We always listen to our clients’ wishes and make direct use of this feedback, day by day. Improving existing products continuously and creating new ones.

ATT R&D has developed a number of tools which are used internally and externally. A prominent example is our 3D calculation and prediction model which allows a perfect design of surface heating elements for any application area and any materials used. Another is our prototyping workshop which enables the analysis and testing of new concepts and surface heating materials. And finally our process optimisation tool, which ensures a cost-efficient manufacturing of our product range.

Our unique skills and competencies are not reserved for ATT’s own purposes. They are offered to the market as a product, allowing our customers to benefit directly without the need to set up own R&D operations.

Much of our Research and Development is fuelled by the Automotive, Aerospace and Defense industries, but the trickle-down effect leads to useful applications for smart innovations for surface heating or sensing applications in modern buildings, or interior design.

Our technology is also applicable to retrofit older buildings in order to bring them up to date with smart technology or efficient heating in the strive towards Zero-net energy infrastructure.
